Jason Russel’s “Invisible Children” documentary

I just watched this ingenious documentary by director and activist Jason Russel. In just a few days this documentary has become viral! At 36 million views in just three days, “STOP KONY 2012” is making history as being the first documentary to sweep over Youtube, Twitter, Facebook, and other social medias. In the video activist Jason Russel sheds light on the ‘now famous’ fugitive child army leader Joseph Kony for his decades of unspeakable brutality and abuse he has caused upon the people of Ugandan. Kony is the leader of the Lord’s Resistance Army in which they are responsible for abduction and murder of thousands, of children, adults, and elders. The army steals children away from their homes and forces them to kill and become sex slaves. In hopes of rallying up supporters Jason Russel and the invisible children foundation show us how we can fight this cause and STOP KONY

Every Retweet of THIS TWEET on Twitter results to a $1.00 donation to the Invisible Children Foundation of Uganda

Follow the ‘Stop Kony’ movement on Twitter HERE

The internet is the strongest medium we have to get the message across! Spread the word and the people of Uganda will be heard!

To make him visible Jason Russel states that they’ve targeted 20 culture makers such as Kim Kardashian, Pierce Morgan, Rihanna, P. Diddy, and Jay-Z just to name a few and 12 policy makers such as Condoleezza Rice and John Boehner. Using their power for good these policy and cultural celebrities are spreading the word about KONY and the invisible children.

Whether you’re an avid activist or an everyday person this will strike a chord in you that will make you want to make a difference. Don’t back down, this could easily happen to your child, sister, brother, nephew, friend, niece, or cousin.
